Job summary

Temporal Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer, AI Foundations, to help accelerate Temporal adoption across the ecosystem. You will work on agentic coding extensions and AI SDK features, collaborating with teams to deliver reliable software and a great developer experience.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of AI/agent development experience, strong programming skills, and the ability to write clear documentation in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional work experience in AI/agent development.
• Fluency in two or more programming languages.
• Experience with concurrent programming and API design.

Responsibilities

• Work as a software engineer on AI Foundations projects.
• Maintain and expand agentic coding capabilities and systems.
• Design and implement AI SDK features for multiple frameworks/libraries.
• Develop understanding of AI application development patterns and architectures.
• Take end-to-end ownership of new features with cross-team collaboration.
• Write public technical documentation describing Temporal concepts and APIs.
