Responsibilities

• Identify products/features needed by legal teams as the SME.
• Gather pain points and translate into actionable tech-driven workflows.
• Translate legal workflows to engineering/product teams for tool development.
• Apply technology to legal tasks: research, contract review/drafting, compliance.
• Support GTM teams on customer calls and demos; assist with workflow playbooks.
• Educate client legal teams on workflows and product capabilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact from engagement to deployment.

Innovative Driven is currently seeking an additional dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial AI-Forward Lawyer to join the team at an incredibly exciting corporate client! The client is a cutting edgecompany that is leading the industry in the innovative implementation of AI technology that enables legal teams to combine advanced AI-augmentation with hands-on human legal expertise.

The team is growing again, adding an additional AI Forward Lawyer due to growth.

By collaborating with both in-house legal teams at Fortune 500 clients and the agile internal development teams, you will serve as the bridge, translating legal workflows into sleek and functional product capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the legal subject matter expert to identify which products and features are needed for legal teams
• Gather and understand pain points and technical legal needs that will be developed into actionable technology-driven workflows
• Translate specific legal workflows to the technical engineering and product development teams so that they can create and hone the tools
• Apply proprietary technology to legal tasks such as legal research, commercial contract review, drafting and analysis, and regulatory compliance
• Support GTM teams on customer calls and demos, often assisting with building workflow playbooks
• Educate internal client legal teams on workflows and product capabilities, equipping them to effectively utilize capabilities
• Serve as the assigned point person for clients, from the beginning of the engagement through deployment of the technology
• Troubleshoot workflow implementation and identify issues to resolve customer concerns

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA
• Active Bar License
• At least four years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally in corporate or litigation
• Strong user of AI tools, with a mindset of leveraging technology to scale impact
• Excitement about the legal tech and the opportunity to transform how legal work is done.
