Job summary

OPENLANE is hiring an AI-forward Sr. Software Engineer (iOS) to design, build, and ship buyer and seller marketplace features. You will lead iOS direction, grow SwiftUI adoption, manage shared kits, and improve testing, CI/CD, and production observability.

An ownership mindset and daily use of AI tools are expected to accelerate delivery. You will collaborate with Product, Android, backend, and QA teams to ensure a cohesive, scalable mobile experience across platforms, while maintaining high

Qualifications

5+ years professional iOS development (or equivalent depth).
Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI; experience with UIKit.
Experience shipping apps via TestFlight / App Store.
Demonstrated ownership of complex features and cross-cutting concerns.
AI-first mindset and daily use of AI development tools with critical evaluation of outputs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship iOS features across seller and buyer marketplace experiences.
Lead technical direction on iOS: SwiftUI growth, shared kits, and cross-cutting concerns.
Raise the bar on unit/UI/snapshot testing and PR gates; partner on release hygiene.
Use AI tools to accelerate delivery while mentoring intermediate engineers.
Partner with Android to align product behavior across platforms.
