Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Solutions Architect to join the HCLS organization within AWS Enterprise engaged accounts. You will design cloud architectures for global healthcare and life sciences customers, translating business needs into scalable AWS solutions and accelerating cloud adoption.

As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, guide migrations, and help build reference architectures across AI/ML,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges.
• Demonstrate understanding of the customer’s business model and industry trends.
• Architect and design AI-first, scalable, secure AWS solutions addressing needs.
• Guide customers through cloud migration with smooth adoption of AWS services.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams to implement, configure, and optimize AWS infrastructure.
• Build strong technical relationships to support cloud adoption journeys.
• Provide ongoing optimization recommendations to maximize AWS investment value.
• Share best practices and enable the customer team to independently manage AWS environment.
