Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to build modern applications with AI as a first-class capability in development workflows and production systems. You will work on Custom AI Agents, MCP integrations, and end-to-end features, driving reliability, observability, and scalability.

Responsibilities include architecture decisions, code reviews, and implementing AI-enabled solutions that shorten development cycles while maintaining quality and security across manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in full stack software engineering, OO design, testing, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems with APIs and data persistence.
• Ability to design scalable architectures balancing performance, security, and developer productivity.
• Experience in cloud-native environments, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and modern operations.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL data stores and choosing appropriate tools.
• Experience delivering end-to-end software with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience designing Custom AI agents and skills for agent-based workflows.
• AI-native skills including Prompt Engineering and context management.
• Ability to reason about hallucination risk, failure modes, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to platform enablement, architecture decisions, code reviews, and standards; build end-to-end features with system design, implementation, testing, observability, and lifecycle support.
• Build and implement Custom AI Agents to automate tasks, support decisions, summarization, multi-step reasoning, and guided execution.
• Integrate systems using MCP to enable structured context sharing between models, tools, and agents.
• Interface with external and internal AI services via designed APIs; harden AI components for reliable production manufacturing systems.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation; apply human judgment to architecture and maintainability.
• Gather requirements, write code across languages, support testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution per standards.
