Job summary

Commure is hiring an AI & Technology Finance leader to own financial planning and business partnership across Engineering, Product & Design (EPD) and G&A. You’ll lead OpEx and headcount planning, partnering with technical and corporate leaders to scale the organization while guiding AI/LLM initiatives in finance and operations.

You’ll own the R&D + G&A spend envelope, build forecasting/models, and drive cost optimization in a fast-paced, pre-IPO healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, banking, and/or consulting in a high-growth environment.
• Experience partnering with R&D/Engineering/Product and/or G&A functions; comfort with headcount-driven cost structures and OpEx management.
• Hands-on LLM literacy and a clear point of view on applying AI to finance and operations.
• Bias for action and ability to drive multiple projects to completion.
• Excellent communication, distilling complex financial topics into clear narratives.
• Comfort in a high-visibility role; confident presenting to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Forge trusted relationships as the primary finance partner to Engineering, Product and Design leadership.
• Define and drive the AI/LLM strategy across finance and the EPD/G&A functions.
• Own OpEx and headcount for R&D and G&A end-to-end; set spend guardrails.
• Build bottoms-up headcount models and collaborate with People/Talent on staffing.
• Lead annual planning, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly updates with clear variance narratives.
• Manage SaaS and vendor spend; optimize renewals and cost efficiency.
• Develop scalable forecasting/reporting processes and data infrastructure.
