Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a remote, flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and provide written explanations of what’s off, shaping how AI systems learn and improve.

Work is freelance on a 1099 basis with weekly payments. Rates vary by expertise, with access to leading LLMs and no minimum hours, allowing you to work from home or while traveling.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to replay/zoom in on content.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely—zooming in and replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or mismatched audio/video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions (adherence, quality, realism) and writing English explanations referencing observed issues.
