Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master’s program or in the 3rd/4th year of a bachelor’s in computer science, mathematics, data science or industrial engineering in the United States.
• Available to continue part-time, remotely, for about six months after the summer.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite during the summer.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents, tools, and data connectors in Python reading from business systems via APIs and SQL.
• Design multi-step workflows with human-in-the-loop approvals in LangGraph or similar frameworks.
• Determine the right retrieval method (db query, API call, or document search) for each question.
• Construct evaluation sets and measure answer correctness to improve performance.
• Ship small increments weekly and demo progress to team and business users.
