Job summary

WCL Group is seeking a Tableau Developer & Administrator for a 12-month, onsite assignment in Plano, TX. You will build and maintain Tableau dashboards connected to Google BigQuery, writing complex calculations and optimizing performance to meet stakeholder needs.

You will also administer Tableau Server/Online, manage user access and security, and explore Generative AI tools to speed up prototyping. This 40-hour week, Mon-Fri role pays $57/hr onsite with potential extension to full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Statistics/Math or related field.
• 5+ years Tableau development experience.
• 2+ years Tableau Server/Online administration.
• 3+ years Google BigQuery or similar cloud warehouse.
• 3+ years advanced SQL (joins, window, CTEs, optimization).
• 2+ years dimensional modeling experience.
• Experience creating mockups/wireframes for stakeholders.
• Jira familiarity for requirements and sprint tracking (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI/ML in analytics (preferred).
• Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end dashboard delivery from requirements to production.
• Design and maintain dashboards in Google BigQuery.
• Create dimensional models for efficient reporting.
• Develop advanced calculated fields and LOD expressions.
• Build templates and frameworks for consistency.
• Optimize workbook performance and queries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Manage Tableau Server/Online configuration, access & security.
• Train users and enforce governance for content publishing.
• Explore Generative AI tools to accelerate visualization work.
