Job summary
Robert Bosch Group is seeking an AI Engineering Intern to collaborate with engineers, translate challenges into AI use cases, and iterate on solutions based on user feedback. You will develop AI-powered tools and workflows for braking and steering systems in the Vehicle Motion division, identify high-value AI opportunities, and prototype concepts to maturity.
The role emphasizes embedded software, APIs, and automation within automotive product development, with a focus on AI-driven data analysis
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field with at least one semester completed.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong programming skills, preferably Python and software development best practices.
- Hands-on interest or experience with generative AI, LLMs, ML, or AI-enabled software development.
- Experience with APIs, automation frameworks, or software integrations.
- Interest in automotive systems and embedded software development.
- Familiarity with embedded software development tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered tools and workflows to support engineering and product development activities for braking and steering systems.
- Identify opportunities to apply generative AI, ML, automation, and AI agents within engineering processes.
- Prototype and evaluate AI concepts, maturing successful ones into reliable tools for engineering teams.
- Apply AI to embedded software development activities, including code generation, analysis, debugging support, and test development.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions for engineering data processing and interpretation.
