AI Engineer at Iowa State University under Information Technology Services will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of AI solutions across university platforms. The ideal candidate should have a background in AI or machine learning, experience with Azure AI services, and the ability to work with stakeholders to refine requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with AI development, deployment, and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements for AI capabilities.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI applications and services using low-code Microsoft tools.
• Integrate AI functionality into university systems using the Microsoft stack.
• Design multi-agent architecture elements in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both custom and third-party apps.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, and implement fixes.
