Hex is seeking an AI Engineer Intern for the summer to help build the next generation of AI-powered data tooling. You will work on projects that enable data teams to explore, analyze, and collaborate using natural language and agentic AI.

You will learn from experienced engineers, ship features to production, and gain hands-on experience across research and development in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with graduation planned for 2027 or 2028.
• AI research, applied AI, or ML experience preferred, especially with generative AI or transformer-based projects.

Mansioni

• Build and run real research experiments using modern and classical AI/ML techniques.
• Collaborate with product engineers to deliver AI-powered capabilities.
• Contribute to research infrastructure including evals, monitoring, and pipelines.
• Tackle practical engineering challenges like performance and API design.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
