Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Native Engineer to design, build, and run enterprise-ready agentic AI systems for client environments in New York, NY. This onsite role embeds with clients to define use cases, prototype quickly, and deploy robust AI-native workflows that scale.

You will design enterprise-grade AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, tool invocation, and evaluation harnesses, while building abstraction layers across providers like Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of end‑to‑end software engineering with SDLC expertise.
  • 8+ years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent with evaluation tooling, logging, monitoring, and agent observability.
  • 8+ years deploying to production with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm), monitoring and debugging.
  • 8+ years in client communication and collaboration, including leading workshops and delivering under ambiguity.
  • 3+ years working with cloud‑native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless).
  • 3+ years with AI platforms including OpenAI, Claude, and open‑source models, building abstraction layers for multi‑provider pipelines.
  • 2+ years designing and delivering Agentic AI solutions hands‑on.
  • 1.5+ years with semantic models, knowledge graphs, or enterprise knowledge.
  • 1.5+ years using coding agents and AI‑assisted software development.
  • 1+ year designing and deploying agentic solutions (agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, workflows) in production.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 12 years of work experience (or Associate Degree plus 6 years).

Responsibilities

  • Create reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices influencing internal assets and client roadmaps.

What you’ll do

Compensation and benefits

Salary range: USD 122,700 - 302,400 per year. Compensation varies based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
