Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking an Entry-Level AI Engineer with a solid C#/.NET background and a keen interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents. You will contribute to AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and AI-driven tooling in a collaborative, international team.

You will work on building configurable AI agents, integrating LLMs, and deploying solutions in Azure with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Building Intelligent AI Agents: Develop and maintain configurable AI agents using C#/.NET and Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Working with Generative AI: Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs and enterprise services to create smart, AI-powered applications.
• Making AI Agents Talk: Explore and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) integrations, allowing agents and tools to communicate and work together.
• Cloud Technology: Build, containerise, deploy and support applications using Microsoft Azure, Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Modern Software Engineering: Write clean, secure and maintainable code, participate in code reviews and contribute to automated testing.

Requirements

Essential Technical Skills:

• C# / .NET: Good working knowledge of modern C# and .NET, backend development, REST APIs, asynchronous programming and automated testing.
• AI Agents & LLMs: Practical exposure to AI-enabled applications, LLM integration, prompt engineering, tool/function calling and conversation or context management.
• AI Agent Frameworks: Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel or similar frameworks.
• MCP & A2A: An understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) concepts.
• Microsoft Azure: Experience working with Azure cloud environments.
• DevOps & Containers: Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and production support.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop AI workflows.

Advantageous Skills:

• Experience building multi-agent solutions or agent orchestration workflows.
• Exposure to Azure OpenAI or other enterprise LLM services.
• Knowledge of AI application security, including prompt injection, data protection and access control.
• Experience with AI evaluation, tracing, telemetry and observability.
• Familiarity with relational, document or vector databases.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop AI workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Solid professional experience developing backend applications using C#/.NET.
• Experience developing and supporting software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Practical exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents or AI application development.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and modern Agile/DevOps practices.
