Job summary

Goodwin Procter Boston is seeking an AI Developer to join the Digital & Technology team. You will design, build, and support AI-powered applications, automation, and agent-based systems spanning front-end and back-end components.

The role requires 2–4 years of software development experience, proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript with React, and experience with Python or C#. Familiarity with AI tech, LLMs, and orchestration frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
2–4 years of professional software development experience.
Experience building, testing, and supporting web applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-powered applications, automation solutions, and agent-based systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into technical solutions.
Develop components and integrations using C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, React, APIs.
Configure and support AI solutions using Azure AI services and cloud tech.
Assist in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Follow SDLC, security, and operational standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
Collaborate with Information Security for compliant AI use.
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
