Job summary

Global Alliant Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer for a remote/hybrid role with eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The position requires US citizenship due to federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in AI/ML, data science, or data engineering, plus 3+ years handling healthcare data. Proficiency in Python, SQL, NLP, and generative AI, with experience across healthcare datasets and interoperability standards like FHIR/HL7.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with healthcare data.
• Strong Python, SQL, ML, NLP, and Generative AI experience.
• Experience with healthcare datasets (Medicare/Medicaid/claims/provider/clinical).
• Familiarity with FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of HIPAA, data governance, and federal compliance.
• Experience with federal healthcare programs or CMS initiatives preferred.

Position: AI Engineer

Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Criteria: Need US citizenship because of federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work involved.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering
• 3+ years of experience working with healthcare data
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI technologies
• Experience with healthcare datasets, including Medicare, Medicaid, claims, provider, beneficiary, or clinical data
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data governance, and federal compliance requirements
• Experience supporting federal healthcare programs or CMS initiatives is highly preferred

• Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
