Job summary

PAM Health Corp Business Office in Plano, TX seeks an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven automation across clinical, financial, HR, and administrative domains. This onsite role supports stakeholders by delivering HIPAA-compliant tools that enhance workflows and patient care, integrating with EHR systems.

You will develop AI agents in Python using LangChain, Pydantic AI, and OpenAI SDKs, deploy in cloud, and ensure data privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven software engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI-driven applications, LLMs, or autonomous agents.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its AI ecosystem.
• Familiarity with agent development SDKs such as LangChain, Pydantic AI, Google ADK, and OpenAI Agents SDK.
• High proficiency with AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, and Antigravity.
• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) fundamentals, embeddings, vector stores, and multi-modal data processing.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and third-party system integrations.
• Knowledge of data privacy principles, security best practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA).
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to function as a technical generalist across varied business domains
• Strong communication skills to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows using Python across clinical, financial, HR, and administrative departments.
• Build scalable AI applications with modern SDKs and frameworks (LangChain, Pydantic AI, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK).
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise applications and EHR systems for secure data exchange.
• Deploy, host, and manage AI models and applications in cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain delivery speed and code quality using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity).
• Ensure all AI tools and workflows meet healthcare compliance standards, maintaining data privacy, security, and HIPAA compliance for PHI.
• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate business problems into actionable AI solutions.
• Monitor, test, and evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrate accountability, confidentiality, and alignment with company policies and safety guidelines.

This onsite role in Plano, TX supports business stakeholders in optimizing workflows and improving efficiency, while building secure, HIPAA-compliant tools that can enhance patient care.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows using Python to streamline processes across clinical, financial, HR, and administrative departments


• Build scalable AI applications with modern agent development SDKs and frameworks, including LangChain, Pydantic AI, Google ADK, and the OpenAI Agents SDK


• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise applications and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to enable secure, efficient data exchange


• Deploy, host, and manage AI models and applications in cloud infrastructure


• Maintain delivery speed and code quality by leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Antigravity


• Ensure all AI tools and automated workflows meet healthcare compliance standards, maintaining data privacy, security, and HIPAA compliance when handling Protected Health Information (PHI)


• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, scope automation initiatives, and translate business problems into actionable AI solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical/professional experience


• Proven software engineering experience (level commensurate with Junior to Senior expectations), with a primary focus on Python


• Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI-driven applications, LLMs, or autonomous agents


• Strong proficiency in Python and its broader data/AI ecosystem


• Familiarity with agent development SDKs such as LangChain, Pydantic AI, Google ADK, and OpenAI Agents SDK
