Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend tools, automation scripts, and services to support AI and data-driven applications in Orlando. You will implement monitoring, logging, and database management to ensure performance and reliability, while collaborating across teams to uphold security and best practices.

Ideal candidates will have strong Python skills with JavaScript/C/C++ experience, knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, and familiarity with CI/CD and

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with JavaScript, C, and C++.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML development, backend tooling, and automation pipelines.
• Proficiency with SQL and database technologies (relational and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment automation, and scripting.
• Understanding of backend architectures, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend tools, automation scripts, services, and pipelines for AI and data-driven apps.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and database management for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams, document best practices, and uphold security/compliance standards.
• Diagnose and resolve backend, database, and automation issues.
• Stay current with backend, AI, and automation tech to drive scalability.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per policy and team activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule- 4 Days onsite, 1 day remote
Location: Orlando, FL
Experience:
