About The Role

We are hiring an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of generative AI-enabled applications within our product suite. This role requires a strong background in full stack software engineering, with hands-on experience in deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions. As a member of our distributed engineering team, you will build applications that serve millions of users and directly contribute to the advancement of AI in education technology. This is a fully remote position open to applicants residing in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered web applications
• Stay current with advancements in generative AI and recommend integration opportunities
• Work collaboratively across engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to maintain code quality and deployment speed
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and process improvement
• Ensure accessibility, security, and performance standards across platforms
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on usability and scalability
• Participate in the full lifecycle of software development, including production support
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5–7 years of full stack software development experience
• Proven experience developing applications with AI services such as Azure OpenAI or Amazon Bedrock
• Proficiency in back-end technologies like Python and Node.js
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and TypeScript
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (ECS, RDS, Lambda)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools: Docker, Terraform, GitHub, CircleCI
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred
