Job summary

Leading Financial Institution seeks an experienced AI engineer/architect to partner with cross-functional teams and deliver AI-powered banking products. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and LLM inference.

You will leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, invent optimization techniques for large-scale production systems, and contribute to the long-term foundational AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI.
• 8+ years of AI/ML algorithm development experience.
• 8+ years of experience in programming with Python/Go/Scala/Java.

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance customer and associate experiences
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and LLM inference
• Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies
• Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI plus at least 8 years of experience developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies
• At least 8 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java
• Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor multiple engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production
