Job summary

Pressrun is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer in New York to design, build, and deploy AI-powered content systems. You will develop LLM integrations, prompt pipelines, and evaluation frameworks to support expansive, scalable content production.

You’ll collaborate with editorial and strategy teams to translate content needs into technical solutions, optimize performance, latency, and cost, and evolve capabilities as the AI landscape shifts. A fast-paced environment with evolving requirements awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML.
• Production experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).
• Strong Python and TypeScript; experience with modern AI frameworks.
• Understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases, and embeddings.
• Experience building production-grade AI pipelines — not just prototypes.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve weekly.

You build the AI systems that power Pressrun's content engine. From fine-tuned language models to automated publishing pipelines, you'll design and deploy the infrastructure that lets us produce exceptional content at a scale that shouldn't be possible with a team our size.
