We are looking for a visionary Engineering Leader to lead our solution and engineering teams in building innovative solutions.

About the role

You will build a next-generation configuration, pricing and quotation platform from the ground up,

working with the AI Solution Architect.

What you will do

• Build and test the platform's services for configuration, pricing, quoting and approvals.
• Implement pricing logic across a range of commercial models.
• Build front-end features in React or similar.
• Build AI-powered features into the platform.
• Write automated tests, AI evaluation suites and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document APIs and services, and take part in design and code reviews.

Required domain expertise

• 2+ years working on CPQ, billing, pricing, e-commerce checkout or other quote-to-cash software.
• Understanding of product catalogs, bundles and options, and rule-based configuration.
• Understanding of pricing models: tiers, discounts, subscriptions and usage-based pricing.
• Plus: built pricing or billing for a SaaS or cloud product.

Required technical expertise

• 4+ years of professional software engineering, building production backend services.
• Strong in Python and/or TypeScript; Java or Go is a plus.
• Microservices and APIs: REST/GraphQL, event-driven messaging, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Hands-on LLM application work: prompt design, tool/function calling, agents, RAG, and
• Front-end experience with React or similar.
• Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field from

an Ivy League or comparable premier university (for example MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Carnegie

What success looks like at 6 months

• Owns at least two platform services in production-quality form, with tests and documentation.
• Has shipped at least one AI feature end to end, with an evaluation suite.
