Job summary

GoodSuite in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking an AI Engineer focused on building and shipping AI-powered automation across internal operations, including service delivery, billing, quoting, onboarding, and client communications.

You will design and deploy AI tools, agents, dashboards, and workflows that reduce manual work and save time, integrate LLMs with internal systems and SaaS tools, and drive internal AI adoption with leadership's support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Gemini).
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js; comfortable with FastAPI/Flask/Express.js.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, databases, and workflow automation (n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate).

Job description

On-site opportunity in Woodland Hills, CA. This AI Engineer role at GoodSuite is a builder-focused position to design and deploy AI-powered automation across internal operations, integrate LLMs with internal systems, and lead internal AI adoption with direct access to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI-powered automation across internal operations — service delivery, billing, quoting, onboarding, and client communications
• Build and maintain AI tools, agents, dashboards, and workflows that eliminate manual work and create measurable time savings
• Integrate LLMs with internal systems, SaaS tools, databases, APIs, and automation platforms
• Lead GoodSuite’s internal AI adoption — training staff, identifying use cases, and driving actual usage of the tools
• Evaluate and implement AI-forward platforms including workflow automation, LLM integrations, and RMM/PSA enhancements
• Partner with the CRO and COO to identify automation opportunities that support revenue growth and margin improvement
• Build the foundation for AI-enabled client-facing services for the managed IT client base
• Stay relentlessly current and act as the eyes and ears on what’s coming next

Requirements

• You are obsessive about AI, not as a trend but as a craft. You build things and ship them
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Gemini, or similar
• Proficient with Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js, and comfortable with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, or similar
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, databases, and workflow automation platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate
• Ability to build practical internal tools using React, Next.js, Retool, Streamlit, or similar when needed
• Experience in or around an MSP, IT services, SaaS, service business, or technology company — understanding operational realities
• Clear communicator who can explain complex tools to non-technical stakeholders without condescension
• Work with urgency; proactively identify and build solutions rather than waiting for directions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at shaping the role as it evolves
• A portfolio, GitHub, side project, internal tool, or live product that demonstrates actual hands-on building

• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, document processing, knowledge-base search, or AI evaluation workflows
• Experience building internal-facing AI dashboards, reporting tools, copilots, or client-facing AI features
• Background in SOC, cybersecurity automation, compliance tooling, or IT operations
