Job summary

Siili Solutions Plc seeks an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI solutions that move from prototyping to production. You’ll collaborate with data scientists to turn models into robust, scalable products and apply MLOps for reproducibility and monitoring.

You'll work with Azure, AWS, and GCP and stay ahead of the evolving AI landscape, bringing responsible AI practices into client projects and contributing to a data-driven consulting culture.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a solid understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI.

Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions from prototyping to production deployment.
Build and optimize LLM-powered applications and agentic systems integrated into real business processes and systems.
Collaborate with data scientists to turn models into robust, scalable products.
Apply MLOps practices to ensure reproducibility, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Work with modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source AI frameworks.
Stay curious about the fast-evolving AI landscape and bring that insight into client projects.
Excellent communication and consulting skills to guide stakeholders around AI capabilities.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that help organizations transform how they use data. You’ll work as part of our Data & AI community, alongside data scientists, data engineers, and data architects – but your focus will be on true AI engineering: making models work in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer who has built real AI solutions – beyond using APIs or experimenting with models. We hope you recognize yourself in most of these:

2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a solid understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI.
Experience in building production-grade LLM and agentic applications, incl. evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.
Knowledge of core LLM concepts e.g. tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction.
Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.
Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring model reliability and performance in production.
Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of developments in AI and apply them responsibly.
Excellent communication and consulting skills — able to guide stakeholders, create understanding, and inspire confidence around AI capabilities.
Fluent in Finnish and English.
