Job summary

Golden Analytics is seeking an AI Engineer to own critical AI functionality that makes our third-generation BI platform tick. You will bring existing AI models into the product and build new models to serve data teams with AI-powered analysis, visualization, and NL interfaces.

You’ll ship AI-enabled features, design with customer value in mind, and iterate quickly. This role blends data science with full-stack development and close collaboration with founders and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI-enabled solutions and integrating ML models into production.
• Strong ability to build customer-facing features using AI models and tools.
• Proficient with full-stack web technologies (Vite, TypeScript, React) and cloud deployments.
• Experience fine-tuning ML models for new domains.
• Product thinking and customer orientation; comfortable with ambiguity.

About this position

Golden Analytics is an AI-native BI platform built for data teams who are tired of the tradeoffs in today's tools – the depth of self-service analytics tools without the rigidity, the accessibility of a modern design tool, and AI that actually augments how analysts work rather than getting in the way.

The Role

As an AI Engineer at Golden Analytics, you’ll own critical AI functionality that makes a third‑generation BI platform tick. You know AI tech extremely well and love applying models in new ways to help people achieve greater things. You’ll bring existing AI models to a rapidly‑moving BI platform and build new models to be the brain of a platform centered around working for data.

You’re all over coding agents and modern dev environments, strive to learn, and encode that learning in ways that today’s development systems can use. You have shipped AI‑enabled solutions and guided coding agents to help you move faster. You know the limits of this tech but push it to help you do more.

What You’ll Build

• AI‑native data analysis, visualizations, and dashboards
• Models to power an “AI analyst” and capture best practices for working with data
• AI‑infused analytical tools – modeling, analysis, data preparation, enrichment, monitoring, and more
• Natural language interfaces for analytics

Requirements

• Strong development experience building customer‑facing functionality that leverages existing AI models and ML technologies (LLMs, vector databases, coding agents, etc.)
• Experience building new models and fine‑tuning existing models for new domains.
• Full‑stack development experience and integration with cloud‑deployed customer‑facing applications – Vite, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Vercel, Supabase (and more as we grow)
• Experience building software using AI (coding agents, etc.)
• Product thinking and customer orientation
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
