Job summary

EY is hiring a hands-on Solution Architect in the United States to design, prototype, and build AI-enabled applications and digital products. You’ll design architectures, write and review code, run proofs‑of‑concepts, and guide engineering teams through complex decisions across build‑and‑run engagements in Digital Engineering Managed Services.

You’ll work in a role emphasizing technical depth, architecture ownership, and strong engineering judgment, collaborating with clients and internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Typically 8+ years in engineering and solution architecture roles, with recent hands‑on delivery responsibility.
• Prior consulting or complex product delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on solution architecture & design across UI, APIs, services, data, AI components, integrations and runtime platforms.
• Prototype and spike solutions to validate architectural decisions early.
• Define and evolve reference architectures for AI‑enabled products, including RAG patterns and vector search.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows, deployment diagrams and non‑functional requirements.
