Prometric is seeking a Product Owner to join our Product Management team remotely from the United States. You will translate product vision into a prioritized backlog for AI-driven education and certification features, collaborating with educators, certification bodies, and AI engineers.

You’ll own the backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, participate in PI Planning, and help shape the roadmap using user research and delivery data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Product Owner or Business/Product Analyst owning a backlog in an Agile team, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Regular hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, and curiosity about applying AI to real problems.
• Experience working within SAFe or another scaled Agile framework.
• Comfortable with Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence, with a working understanding of software development.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Own and prioritize the team backlog: write user stories and acceptance criteria, lead refinement, and represent the team in PI Planning.
• Partner day to day with the engineering and AI science teams to deliver features in lean, iterative increments.
• Work with education and certification experts to understand their needs and turn them into AI powered features, making sure both sides understand the trade-offs.
• Help shape the roadmap with the Product Manager, drawing on user research, customer feedback and delivery data.
• Demo the product and communicate progress to stakeholders, users and clients.
• Support Product Line Marketing with product knowledge for launches.
