Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina invites applications for the AI Education Innovation and Implementation Lead within EISL. The role advances strategy for AI in health professions education, leading faculty development, and AI-enabled teaching initiatives across MUSC colleges.

Responsibilities include designing professional learning, piloting AI education projects, evaluating outcomes, and producing SoTL-driven resources.

Qualifications

Master's degree in educational technology and/or related field.
Three or more years in curriculum development, faculty development, educational technology, or related areas in higher education.
Experience evaluating educational initiatives, technologies, and SoTL projects.
Experience designing and facilitating professional learning programs for faculty.

Responsibilities

Design and facilitate professional learning experiences focused on AI readiness, responsible AI integration, and AI-enhanced teaching practices.
Lead implementation efforts for approved AI-enabled educational technologies and coordinate adoption.
Identify and coordinate AI education pilots, with clear objectives, evaluation plans, and dissemination.
Develop resources, exemplars, and guides to support scalable AI integration in teaching and learning.
