Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Data Analysis Engineering Intern to explore semiconductor failure analysis and inline prediction using machine learning to improve next‑gen memory solutions.

You will collaborate with process integration, process engineering and data science teams to develop predictive insights and learn yield analysis in today’s semiconductor environment.

This paid internship offers hands-on projects, mentorship and real-world experience in a world‑leading company.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science or related field.
  • Graduation date should not be prior to September 2027.
  • Interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to drive yield insights and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze experimental data looking for device performance shift
  • Possess a CIP mentality, seeking to improve measurement accuracy and make a difference today
  • Recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies with the motivation of "who needs to know this now!"
  • Use the data collected inline to drive process improvements
  • Work with new detection tools and inspection strategies to localize and identify process issues
  • Build and improve upon techniques and identify new creative and innovative ways to use existing tools to identify process issues
  • Active participation in technical meetings to identify new opportunities or novel approaches
