Job summary

Digi International is seeking a driven developer to contribute to their web platforms and AI-assisted development initiatives. You will build and maintain components of our corporate website, create backend APIs, and extend CMS capabilities.

You’ll also engineer integrations with CRM and analytics tools while improving automation and data instrumentation. The role emphasizes AI-assisted coding, documentation workflows, and performance optimization within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend development concepts.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools or generative AI platforms.
• Experience using Git or other source control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to document solutions and create structured development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of Digi’s corporate website and digital platforms using modern web technologies.
• Build backend services and APIs that support web functionality, integrations, and data collection.
• Extend CMS and web platform capabilities through custom development and system integrations.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code.
• Build and maintain integrations between the website and enterprise platforms including CRM systems, analytics platforms, marketing automation tools, and AI services.
• Develop automation workflows that reduce manual processes and improve digital platform reliability.
• Implement data collection and instrumentation that supports analytics and reporting.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
• Help manage and improve the AI tool environment used by the digital team.
• Develop structured prompts, workflows, and documentation to ensure AI tools are used in a repeatable and controlled development process.
• Evaluate and test new AI tools that improve development efficiency.
• Monitor website performance and system integrations.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to platform scalability and performance.
• Participate in structured testing and optimization initiatives.
