NVIDIA is seeking talented Software Engineers to develop and deploy an AI agent that uses machine learning models to tackle complex VLSI design challenges. You will collaborate with experts in VLSI, ML, and software engineering to create AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and design quality.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS/PhD in CS or ECE, have 6+ years building AI-powered software, demonstrate strong Python skills, and show experience in RL, planning, or LLM-based agents

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
• 6+ years building AI-driven software systems for complex engineering workflows
• Strong Python programming skills and production-quality software development experience
• Experience designing and applying AI agents or learning-based decision systems (RL, planning, LLM-based agents) to optimize processes
• Proficiency with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and data-driven model development
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, translating complex design challenges into agent-driven solutions

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate AI agents to enhance VLSI design flows
• Collaborate on design and implementation of algorithms and models for optimization
• Contribute to development of software tools and frameworks for AI in VLSI design
• Analyze data to identify patterns informing AI-driven design methodologies
• Stay updated on ML, DL, and VLSI build advancements
