Nace AI in Palo Alto is seeking a Financial & Valuation Specialist to independently review, challenge, and validate financial models and AI-driven investment workflows. You will critically assess assumptions, test logic, and ensure outputs reflect real-world institutional practices with rigor.

The role includes model training, performance optimization, dataset curation, and translating complex financial mechanics into actionable product requirements for Product, Engineering, and Data teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in corporate finance, valuation, investment banking, or audit advisory.
• Strong expertise in business valuation, financial modeling, market analysis and transaction lifecycle.
• Proven experience reviewing or building complex financial models (DCF, multiples, LBOs).
• Ability to identify modeling errors or AI logic flaws and explain to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute testing scenarios across financial workflows (M&A, FDD, market analysis, valuations).
• Critically assess the AI agent's reasoning to avoid misinterpretation of financial data.
• Validate outputs align with IVS, IFRS/US GAAP fair value guidance and market practice.
• Provide actionable recommendations to adjust assumptions and improve methodologies.
• Translate complex financial mechanics into product requirements for teams.
