Qualifications

• 3–7 years of UX design experience, ideally shaping software products from concept to launch.
• Experience designing for a scientific or life sciences audience is a plus.
• Proficient in Figma and capable of rapid prototyping.
• Experience with design tokens and component libraries; Storybook a plus.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted design-to-code workflows.
• Experienced in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG), and user-centered design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to define problems and shape direction.
• Own design process end to end from concept to handoff.
• Work in fast-moving environments with prototyping and validation.
• Create multiple design paths for complex workflows.
• Build and maintain design systems for consistency.
• Champion usability and accessibility and stay updated on UX trends.
• Conduct user research and translate insights into design decisions.
