Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to design, pilot, and implement logging, alerting, and threat-hunting workflows across endpoints, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, leverage AI tools to automate threat detection, ensure production-ready security, and drive incident response with a focus on BeyondCorp architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field; years of experience acceptable in lieu
• Strong Python and/or Go development skills
• Experience in forensics, malware analysis, intrusion detection, or threat intelligence
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern security tooling

Responsibilities

• Design, pilot, and implement logging and alerting systems for endpoints, infra, networks and cloud environments
• Build tools and automation to improve threat hunting and intrusion response
• Investigate events from the alerting pipeline and triage incidents
• Collaborate with multiple teams during incidents and drive response efforts
