Job summary

Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing, Inc. in Norman, OK is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Test Engineering team. You will work on automation, data analysis, and production support while developing new software applications.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with strong communication and a drive to learn AI/GenAI applications in manufacturing. 20h/w during school months, 40h/w in summer.

Qualifications

Pursuing degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with software programming and data analysis concepts.
Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Interest in learning and applying AI/GenAI tools in engineering.
Able to commit 20 h/w during school months and 40 h/w in summer.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to support automation, data analysis, and production projects.
Develop new software applications.
Support existing tools used in engineering and manufacturing operations.
Research technical issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and support of production test systems and computer equipment.
