Job summary

ServiceTitan is seeking a Software Engineer, Test to own automated test coverage for high-traffic scheduling and dispatch domains. This hands-on automation role is ideal for early-career engineers aiming to grow into a core quality engineer role on an AI-forward squad.

You will build end-to-end tests with Playwright, maintain Cypress during migrations, and drive CI/CD integration. AI-assisted workflows will be central to test creation and debugging.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software test automation (UI and API).
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, XPath and OO concepts.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript; C# is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Git and deployment concepts.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in testing workflows.
• Solid grasp of SDLC and testing types (functional, regression, unit).
• Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and test management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end and component tests in Playwright and Cypress.
• Develop K6 load and performance tests for high-traffic paths.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD for automated runs.
• Use AI-assisted workflows for test creation and debugging.
• Exploratory validation and sign-off for production hotfixes.
• Document defects with reproducible steps and severity in Jira.
