Job summary

Norm Ai, a technology-driven law firm, seeks an associate in Technology Transactions to handle high‑impact IP and tech deals, including M&A and private equity components. You will leverage AI agents to draft, review, and diligence, collaborating with partners, clients and technology teams to elevate speed and quality of work.

Applicants should have a JD and 4+ years in technology/IP transactions, with strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent; admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4+ years of law firm experience in Technology Transactions and/or IP Transactions.
• Substantive hands-on drafting and negotiating technology and IP agreements.
• Experience supporting the IP and Tech workstreams of M&A and private equity transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Document Drafting & Review: Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and revise technology and IP transaction documents.
• Due Diligence: Use AI tools to conduct rapid document reviews, identify key terms in documents, and generate client-facing diligence memos focused on IP and tech diligence.
• Deal Execution: Integrate AI agents into workflow management, signing and closing checklists, and coordination with counterparties.
• Client Advisory: Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity.
• Collaboration with Tech: Work closely with the technology teams to continue to make the deal process even more efficient using AI.
