Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on design, requirements development and implementation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of Train Handling solutions.
• Elicit, analyze, define, and manage customer and system requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Drive requirements reviews, design reviews, and verification and validation activities.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues by analyzing system performance.
• Plan and execute field testing, validation, and operational evaluations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering deliverables, project status updates, and system specifications.
• Collaborate directly with railroad customers, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders.
• Apply industry standards, engineering best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve product capabilities.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to accelerate analysis, improve engineering productivity, support decision-making, and enhance product innovation.
