Job summary

EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to lead client engagements in strategic procurement. You will guide teams across category management, sourcing, and AI-driven insights, delivering cost reduction and improved supplier performance.

You will mentor junior staff, run workshops, and shape innovative procurement solutions in a hybrid client-facing role across various industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–8 years in strategic sourcing and category management, with at least 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Category experience in indirect or direct category management.
• Proven experience shaping solutions driving total cost reduction or capability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvements.
• Lead workshops with clients to collect information and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Identify challenges in category management and propose innovative solutions.
• Develop work plans and manage engagement programs.
• Own deliverables and guide client reviews to ensure alignment with expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions to boost efficiency.
• Develop category expertise across spend types and lead sourcing efforts.
