IBM Research seeks a candidate for research on AI-driven storage systems. You will explore performance, scalability, and efficiency, developing prototypes and evaluating them at scale while collaborating with world-class scientists. Strong systems focus and interest in AI are essential.

You will contribute across the research cycle, from ideation to publishing results, with opportunity to impact real-world AI storage challenges within IBM’s ecosystem.

Formación

• Currently pursuing MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, focus on systems or AI systems.
• Experience with system performance measurement and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, Rust.
• Experience using Linux environments and tooling.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
• Basic understanding of storage stack in Linux.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research at the intersection of AI, systems, and storage.
• Develop ideas and system designs, build prototypes, and evaluate performance at scale.
• Publish findings in leading scientific venues and contribute to industrial research cycle.
