Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in STEM Education, Engineering Education, Learning Sciences, Educational Measurement/Data Mining, HCI, Data Science, or related field by hire.
• Familiarity with R or Python is required.
• Experience with educational research in school or university settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple NSF-funded projects involving AI-assisted learning analytics and AI-driven learning platforms.
• Contribute to projects applying AI in education, including automated scoring and psychometric evaluation of LLMs.
• Analyze student engagement and learning data using educational data mining and visualization methods.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
• Contribute to report writing, manuscript preparation, and dissemination.
• Support grant writing and management of grant-funded research projects.
