Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading financial services institution in Austin, TX, seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability at scale. You will design AI/ML driven automation, elevate observability, and build proactive systems for multi-tenant, mission-critical applications.

You’ll champion SRE practices, develop production automation, and collaborate across Engineering, Scrum, and Operations teams to reduce toil and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of enterprise-level administration, support, and deployment experience.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux in VM environments.
• Strong networking, HA architectures, and cloud deployment knowledge.
• Proficiency in .NET, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with AI/ML or AIOps in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Champion the SRE mindset and drive problem-solving through systematic approaches.
• Architect and implement production automation solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Design and deploy AI/ML-driven automation pipelines and observability enhancements.
• Lead expansion of automation across deployment, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Scrum, and Operations teams on reliability initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot mission-critical workflows.
