Goal Solutions in San Diego is seeking an innovative AI Engineer to join its Data Science team in a hybrid role. You will design, build, and scale AI-driven systems that automate workflows and enhance decision-making across the organization.

This hands-on role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, production AI/ML experience, and collaboration with Analytics, BI, Operations, and Finance to deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML or LLM applications in production
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience managing data pipelines and MLOps tooling
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable AI/ML and LLM-powered applications that drive measurable business impact
• Build and maintain data pipelines, vector databases, and AI infrastructure for production systems
• Develop backend APIs and integrations using Python and SQL to embed AI capabilities into business processes
• Manage the AI lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, optimization, and retraining
• Implement evaluation frameworks and AI safety guardrails to ensure reliable and responsible AI usage
