Job summary

Yum! Brands seeks a Solutions Architect to bolster its Architecture practice across the Byte platform and Brand Digital & Technology teams. Your work will influence KFC, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill across the US and international markets.

You will partner with product owners, engineers, and security teams to embed secure-by-design principles, advance AI-driven solutions, and implement federated GraphQL across brands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Solution Architecture experience.
• Experience crafting secure software practices for domains with CCPA, GDPR, PCI, and global tax regulations.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Working knowledge of AWS, IaC, SQL, GraphQL, Git and DataDog.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the organization-wide Architecture Review Process.
• Evaluate project intake based on complexity and cross-team impact.
• Drive innovation by designing AI-driven solutions to enhance business capabilities.
• Support development teams with solution architecture activity and design alignment.
• Align technology capabilities with business objectives and identify standardization opportunities.
• Build relationships between product owners and engineers across brands.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security considerations into architectural designs.
• Apply knowledge of federated GraphQL platforms to support brand-specific needs.
