Job summary

Grainger is transforming KeepStock into a cloud-based microservices platform. The role leads a team of engineers, setting performance expectations and driving AI-assisted practices while partnering with product, UX, ML scientists, and stakeholders to convert roadmaps into delivery plans.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, ensure quality, security, and scalability, and work with enterprise standards across governance and operations in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in software engineering or related technology roles.
• 5+ years experience leading software development teams or Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Translate product roadmaps into delivery plans and priorities.
• Oversee planning, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Establish and reinforce Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Monitor metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with architecture, SRE, security, and platform teams.
