Job summary

iA (Innovation Associates) is offering a Software Development Engineering Intern position for a 10-week summer program in New York. You’ll work on our next-gen pharmacy fulfillment solutions, contribute to Azure deployments, and explore AI-assisted development tools with senior engineers.

You’ll learn to design, test, and deliver software, while evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and security. Ideal for CS/IT students with AI curiosity.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
• Experience with at least one modern language from list provided.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Interest in generative AI and AI-assisted software development.

Responsibilities

• Implement components of software systems under Sr. Software Engineers guidance.
• Deploy solutions on Azure cloud and learn AI-assisted development tools.
• Design and develop proof-of-concept AI agents to aid software tasks.
• Learn to integrate AI capabilities into software applications and workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in daily team meetings and follow best-practice patterns.
