Intel Corporation in the United States (Arizona, Phoenix area) is seeking a Data Scientist for Semiconductor Manufacturing Analytics to drive data-driven innovation across TCB, advanced packaging, and process optimization.

You will partner with process, equipment, metrology, quality, and manufacturing teams to develop analytics, ML, and AI-based solutions that improve yield, stability, and performance. This role emphasizes translating complex problems into scalable data-driven actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in a data-focused technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing data analysis and applying data-driven methods to solve process or yield problems.
• Proficiency in Python programming and JMP for data analysis, automation, and model development.
• Experience with large datasets from manufacturing, equipment, metrology, or quality systems.
• Experience applying AI/ML, statistical methods, or predictive modeling to extract actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing, process, equipment, metrology, and yield data to identify trends and root causes of variation.
• Develop and validate data analytics and ML models to support process monitoring, excursion detection, and yield prediction.
• Build proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility of ML methods for packaging and manufacturing applications.
• Translate manufacturing problems into scalable data solutions with process and equipment teams.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and automated analysis tools to improve decision-making and reaction time.
• Maintain data quality, model validity, and manufacturing relevance.
