Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Enterprise Security Architect to own end-to-end security architecture for Tower 4, translating IBM standards into reusable patterns and governance. You’ll collaborate with CISOs, BISO, and delivery teams to implement secure-by-default agentic workflows and robust security controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years security architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture in consulting/enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge across identity and access, application security, data protection, infrastructure security, cloud security, monitoring, vulnerability management, governance.
• Experience designing secure platforms integrating multiple enterprise systems and security tools.
• Understanding of AI-assisted workflows, digital agents, tool access, and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Define Tower 4 reference architecture for controlled digital agents and secure-by-default implementation.
• Translate IBM security standards, SOC 2, ISO 27001 into common control and assessment architecture.
• Design human-in-the-loop controls, approval gates, audit logging, least-privilege access, and rollback patterns.
• Own security architecture decisions for agent-assisted discovery, IAM/offboarding assessment, vulnerability triage, AppSec/repository review, and remediation workflow support.
• Partner with CISO, CSS, BISO, Delivery CIO, PMO, and tower architects to align outputs with control programs.
• Define secure-by-default patterns for consulting assets and remediation patterns for existing exposure.
• Maintain architecture artifacts, decision records, control catalogs, and exception principles.
• Review and approve agentic designs before production use where agents access sensitive data.
