Job summary

JPMorganChase’s Consumer & Community Banking Risk Modeling Internship Program invites Ph.D. or Master’s students to work on advanced machine learning and data science projects. You’ll apply DL, RL, NLP, and time-series techniques to credit, fraud, and loan-loss concepts while collaborating with senior leaders and mentors.

The program nurtures growth through mentorship, speaker series, and potential full-time opportunities upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Ph.D. or 2-year Master’s program in math, science, engineering, CS or other quantitative field with expected graduation Dec 2027 through July 2028.
• Knowledge of ML/data science theory, techniques and tools.
• Knowledge and proficiency in Python.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication to present findings to non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Explore cutting-edge ML research with academia partners applying techniques to CCB data assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive model-driven transformations across business.
• Focus on DL, RL, NLP, Time Series, CV, and fairness of AI.
• Adhere to data handling protocols and governance policies.
• Work collaboratively within the team.
