Job summary

Beyond International is actively seeking a hands-on Financial Controller for our Houston, TX office. You will lead the accounting department, drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across commercial real estate, property management, and investment portfolios.

Embrace AI tools and automate workflows while maintaining rigorous financial controls. The role requires 5+ years in CRE accounting, a Bachelor's in a related field, and onsite work in Houston.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in commercial real estate, property management, and investment accounting.
• Work Arrangement: Onsite at Houston, TX office.
• Demonstrated learning agility and hands-on work ethic; tech-forward mindset.
• Proficiency in real estate management software; Yardi experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and planning for corporate and property-level budgets.
• Design forecasts, variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and payroll functions.
• Manage financial reporting for properties, ventures, and funds.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, tax filings, and audits.
• Produce timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital; manage property budgets.
